New Look for Summer

Its been a couple of weeks. Hectic. Coming off the adventure to TN, a big weekend for climbing and zip lining, father's day, camping in treehouses, and madeline has been in summer camp!  So if nothing else, I wanted to update our look.

I never did get to posting more pics from our TN trip. I will, i promise, and once we get the photos from our friends who went 'Ape' with us, i'll get you some clips from the day we spent swinging in the trees on cargo nets, zip lines and rope ladders.

For now, here is a bit of an update from this past weekend's camping trip (cheater camping bc this time we didnt pack a tent!).

The kids loved it. We made a fort for Madeline in the bunk beds by wrapping it in sarongs, and she was thrilled. Then Bennett and Madeline played sleeping time together.

Just a sneak peek at one of our favorite moments from our trip!

Driving up the smoky mts we pulled over to see these bears a few yards from us!





so the tourists are all standing along the guardrail snapping pics, dangling their children over the edge etc. The bears climb down and one says to the park ranger "the bears just climbed down, is there any chance they will come up here to us?" to which he replies "uh, you betcha... they're bears".
