Jill came to visit!
We need to get her pictures from her cuz i know i didnt take any!
But we had a few fun adventures
to the Melting Pot and aTartine and Central Park.

But the highlight was our day at Bay to Breakers.
Jill felt like she really got a taste of San Francisco with all the "Bare
to Breakers" and the booze. Only in SF, she said: Its like this race came along
and of course it turned into an excuse for a costume party and beer bash!

But my favorite part is the baby's new nickname
Kicks.

and true true it is!

Visitors!

So, Bill (grandpa) was here for a visit. and i do believe the highlight for him was getting to help Don put together the baby's crib! Here are a couple of pics of the men in action.
Yes...don is not having an easy go of it, but his red head is not about stress, its about the
golf outing the day before!!
Their favorite part was the drawer under the crib....yes the directions were wrong
but they made it work!
I, myself put together the mobile.
We are not keeping the bears, but i put them up for the pic.
And the bumper set has since been washed, ironed and tied on correctly
but here is a pic for the gist.

Grandpa Bill comes to visit!

The boys caught a great game of golf. Bill won and he had the best stroke of the day, slamming one all the way to the hole for nearly a hole in one! The pic shows how close the ball was to the hole... It took Don only 8 strokes to get that one in :)

Here is the baby's face from the top view...Big brain in that head. The baby weighs 12 oz today. And here i thought that was the milkshake a day i've been drinkin'!












On the left is a long leg and a foot and on the right/top middle part there is a knee. (that is a hand in the middle so it's not a clue...)

More baby pics from today...Boy or Girl...?

Okay, so it LOOKS like this beautiful baby has 6 fingers. NOT TRUE. There are only five on each hand. You can see a perfect profile, button nose, long leg and even a spine in this picture!

Yes, this baby is sucking a tiny thumb. What could be more precious?!












Here is another great picture. This one is the "thinker" pose with hand under chin, probably contemplating why this crazy lady keeps poking me with that hard wand to make me spread my legs. Good thinking baby! Modesty at all times :)

And so...we found out...

We are having a little baby girl!!!!

Here is one last picture from today. As soon as we get the
VHS turned into a dvd we will figure out a way to show
you the whole ultrasound online.

She is facing the right and has both hands near her chin. Turn your head a little and you can almost see her chubby cheeks!

THIS BABY IS GROWING!

So, we learned that our midwife is 22 weeks yesterday. So we need to (again) find a new Dr for this baby in my belly. Meanwhile, we will know in less than a week if its a boy or girl! We are so excited to begin to pick names and colors out and stuff. We heard the heartbeating yesterday. Don said "its so fast and so loud". It truly is. It sounds like a fast drum being beat underwater. I am thinking i've felt a little motion but it could just be gas :) or someone popping popcorn in my belly.
Don has been getting back into photography so keep your eye on our blog for the fruit of his work!
